End of holidays
Even the best holidays have to come to an end at some point. For the 96 players this will be Monday, as the remainder of the squad join up with those players who returned early for extra rehabilitation. Only those who have been involved with international duty have a bit more deserved holiday left, but for everyone else it's time to knuckle down for the new season.

Traditional friendly against Ramlingen/Ehlershausen
As has become a fond tradition the first friendly of the pre-season will take place in Ramlingen. On Wednesday the 1st July SV Ramlingen/Ehlershausen will welcome the Reds, kick-off 19:00.

Friendly against Under Armour Allstars
The fans will be able to see how industrious the 96 players have been in their first week of training on Saturday 4th July at 16:00. Dieter Hecking's men will take on the Under Armour Allstars, a selection of local amateurs, in the AWD-Arena in the official season opener.

Fine tuning for the upcoming season
The last major event in the pre-season calendar gets under way on the 10th July, as the squad depart to Austria's Bad Kleinkirchheim for their annual training camp. Here Hecking and his team will put the final touches to preparations for the approaching season.
